If you don’t see a tour you want to book on our website or you like the look of one but would want to amend it to suit, or you fancy something completely different, to create a tour from scratch then simply call or contact us.

We like to give value for money, often the price will be cheaper than larger group tours that take longer and visit places or areas you are not interested in, this way we tailor it to your interests and streamline things making it better value for money.

In our itineraries we will take you to places off the beaten track or to sites of interest overlooked or unknown by other tour companies, as well as visiting the main must-see sites we also include some unique places experienced only by those in the know, we strive to enhance your overall experience of Scotland.

We tend to use accommodation with style and character, usually 5-star and above. Think fantastic unique heritage style properties, old stately homes and Castles.

Our first choice properties are always of a high standard. Deluxe properties will be minimum 4-star, some will be 5-star. Luxury will tend to be good 5-star hotel or resort with excellent service and appointed to a high standard. The Heritage properties will often be a little bit special, from Castles and homes of Lairds to more modest properties steeped in history.  The standard can vary but we will always try and book something with charm and character.

Our Driver/Guides are badge accredited and simply the best in the business.  We also use  excellent chauffeurs for the one off transfers to and from the airport.

We are as invested in your trip as you are, we want to give you the perfect holiday and a great impression of Scotland and its people. Smaller numbers of bookings mean we can supply a personalised service every time.

Every accommodation, tour and supplier has been handpicked or at the very least vetted by our Managing Director, being a company based in Scotland it makes it easier to recommend places or tours, we have our finger on the pulse.

We make sure all our suppliers are properly insured and meet local safety standards, as well as carry out our own risk assessments, your health and safety is paramount to us. In the event that anything does go wrong, our local representatives will be on hand and we have a 24-hour crisis line through our own insurers. However please always book adequate travel insurance of your own.

In the event of an emergency on the ground, we have provided you with a 24/7 crisis number which you will find in the travel documents that have been provided to you ahead of travel. However please also make sure you have booked sufficient travel insurance.

Each supplier if not visited has at least been vetted by the Managing Director of Inspiring Travel to make sure they are happy with the safety standards and integrity of the company or supplier.

Here at Inspiring Travel, every trip is created bespoke by us for you. Any date, any duration.  We can put together a complete bespoke itinerary specific to your requests or if going ahead with one of the tailormade trips from our website we will still add little touches to make it personal to you.

All driver/guides have completed a rigorous program of training and assessment, not just in history culture and landscape but in professional guiding skills including group management and safety and communication and are all bound by a professional association code of conduct. Not to mention most are real characters so you can be confident they will be entertaining as well as knowledgeable and informative. If you have special interests it’s likely we know the guide who has knowledge of that subject to match you up with.  At Inspiring Travel we like to think you will meet as strangers but go home as friends.
